Same-Day Endoscopic Spine Treatment

PELD/PED Treatment

This treatment option is available for lumbar disc herniation, lumbar spinal stenosis, cervical disc herniation/cervical foraminal stenosis, and vertebral compression fractures.
Unlike traditional procedures with large back incisions, endoscopic treatment minimizes patient burden.
While hospitalization is typically required, our clinic offers same-day outpatient treatment: patients are treated in the morning and can return home by evening.

Benefits of Same-Day Endoscopic Treatment

Shorter Treatment Time
Minimal Incision (6–8 mm)

No stitches required

Minimal Blood Loss

Nerve Block Injections

A nerve block reduces pain by injecting an anesthetic or anti-inflammatory medication directly into the affected nerve or tissue.
Persistent pain can worsen blood flow, releasing substances that trigger more pain and creating a vicious cycle. Nerve blocks not only relieve pain but also improve circulation, promoting healing. Additionally, they can help identify the precise source of the pain.

Doctor introduction

Our clinic philosophy: “95% Recovery and Beyond.”

Masanobu Takeuchi, Director, Chukyo Spine Clinic

When I was in elementary school, I was diagnosed with an intractable disease and told I would need a wheelchair for life. Thanks to the support of many people, I underwent surgery and now live with virtually no lasting effects, though some pain and numbness remain.
Becoming a physician, I realized that because of the human body’s structure, typical treatments for pain and numbness only achieve about an 80% improvement, making full recovery rare.
At our clinic, we are committed to prompt, accurate diagnosis and treatment, aiming for a 95% recovery rate. Our approach goes beyond immediate relief, focusing on preventing recurrence. Our entire team is dedicated to identifying the root cause of each condition and providing lasting, effective care.
